Try again, it looks like you have the right idea of what you want, but you really dont know how to do it. I think that It would be great if you took out the plain old lines and folowed a lightsaber tutorial instead. That would improve my vote 2-fold! If your looking for a lightsaber tutorial, well, everyone has practicaly submitted one (even me...) just do a seach on NG for it. In short, don't quit, but try again.
